AI

Incredibly, many of the songs on our website are thirty to forty years old. Many of the originals were written and mastered on My First DAW a Roland VS‑880EX from circa 1998. The pieces you see from the 1980’s was made with a four-track tape unit as I refused to use a real to reel to reel. From there, I moved into Studio One with PreSonus hardware, and most recently upgraded to an IOStation24c. Along the way, we’ve experimented with multiple DAWs, from Roland, Studio One, and Studio 8 and Reaper. AI did come into the picture after years of actual recording and meaningful input on our DAWs. Now a days AI is available on our DAW’s and becoming industry standard for mix downs, voice changers, Instruments and even master mix finals. All done on our DAW.

We will be adding an AI page for all the does and none of the don’ts. So, you don’t have to suffer the changes. We are testing them all a little bit at a time. We will have an opinion of coarse which one we like the most. You just have to be careful what software you use to not loss your rights to your music. Many music AIs are coming out with versions that allows meaningful input by the musician. Which allows you to get a full copyright on your creation. Just make sure you use a tool that allows you to give input to the creation from you the artist. And frankly who are we to decide what meaningful input will be. I have seen kids using tables, chairs, cans, boxes, trash lids and garbage cans. Recording the creations and exporting the midi. Then creating incredible music and performances from banging on garbage! None the less its meaningful input.

Music takes many forms and who are we to say what is and what isn’t meaningful input. Are we seriously going to have it end with a judge and jury over a creation. This guy doesn’t have that answer as I play meaningful instruments and use a DAW. But where does it begin and end and who are we to say. Some children have nothing but the garbage. They live in slums and don’t have the resources of others. Shouldn’t we give them an avenue to rise from those ashes. And shame on those who would stop them.

We have been doing it since the beginning of time. When the first drum was made from the skin of a buffalo. discovered only by the skin drying on a rack, becoming tight and a child tapped it then another and they made different sounds and the drums were born. It’s incredible how racist a community really can be towards a thing they fear. But make no mistake! History will identify those who act in fear of something different as the racist that they are. Nothing more Nothing less!
