People come in here and comment, “so much better than rap” and such but I
disagree. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Beethoven!! I love classical more than
rap, however I also think that people forget that rap is music too. When
done right, rap and hip hop music can be as deep, beautiful, and meaningful
as classical music written by such talented people as Bach, Beethoven, and
Mozart. Much of the rap today gives the entire genre a bad name for the
awful words it uses and mindless things they sing/rap about. Many people
also bash them for making up words, although I cannot agree with this
issue, since Shakespeare did the same thing in his plays rather often.
